(Web Desk) – Pakistani youth Sohail Adnan made history by winning the gold medal in the British Junior Open Squash Championship.
Adnan won the Under-13 category, ending Pakistan’s 18-year championship drought at the prestigious tournament.
Adnan defeated Egypt’s Moez Tamer Al-Moghazi in a nail-biting final, 3-2.
This extraordinary performance follows his recent victory in the Scottish Junior Open Squash Championship.
The President of the Punjab Squash Association, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, congratulated Adnan on his excellent achievement.
Naqvi greeted Sohail.
Interior Minister and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also congratulated Sohail on his victory.
According to Naqvi, Sohail Adnan brought glory to Pakistan by winning the tournament.
“His victory is an honour for Pakistan,” Naqvi stated.
