QUETTA (Web Desk) – Following Lahore, the residents of Quetta began celebrating the Basant holiday with typical zeal on Friday. The festivities will continue until February 15.
The administration and police have released instructions advising residents to celebrate Basant in a safe and peaceful manner, and to prevent aerial fire during the celebrations.
Citizens have been advised to celebrate the occasion quietly and take safety steps to avoid any unfortunate situations.
Previously, Basant festivities returned to Lahore after two decades, igniting excitement throughout the city as passionate Lahorites congregated in huge numbers on streets and rooftops to fly kites.
