However, their trip was not always smooth. Gauri once revealed that when they went to Mumbai, she hoped Shah Rukh’s films would fail and they could return to Delhi.
Gauri, who married at the age of 21, found the Mumbai film business daunting. King Khan’s meteoric climb to prominence, which began with Deewana in 1992, caught her by surprise. She was unprepared for his stardom and struggled to adjust.
