(Web Desk) Following the filing of a petition to register a lawsuit against her, actor Saba Qamar, who was recently praised for her passionate and organic performance in the drama lawsuit No. 9, is now dealing with legal troubles.
The actor allegedly utilized a police outfit during a film production without permission, according to the petition.
The petition, which was filed at a municipal court, asserts that she violated rules controlling the use of official clothes by appearing in police uniform without prior authorization from the appropriate authorities.
The announcement coincides with fans’ passionate reactions to Qamar’s performance in Case No. 9, which airs every Wednesday and Thursday. Many have praised her portrayal of a rape survivor.
Judge Ilyas Rehan of Lahore’s Additional Sessions heard the petitioner’s objections to the video that was making the rounds on social media.
Wasim Zawar, the petitioner, said that the video showed Qamar in a changing room with an SP rank badge and a police uniform.
He maintained that getting a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the police authority is necessary in order to wear a police uniform.
He told the court that no action had been taken despite an earlier application for the registration of a case being made to the Old Anarkali police station.
The court postponed the hearing until January 14 after hearing the preliminary arguments.
