ISLAMABAD (Speaks) On Wednesday, the core committee of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) voiced worry about media claims about Imran Khan’s health.
Media sources suggest that the PTI founder was taken from Adiala Jail to PIMS Hospital and then returned to Adiala Jail, but his family, party leaders, and attorneys were not told about the entire procedure, according to a statement released by the PTI core committee.
Since no one was aware of the PTI founder’s health, the core committee has described the situation as concerning. The group threatened to call for a peaceful shutter-down strike if delays persisted and asked that Imran Khan be inspected by medical professionals from Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
The statement also called for the urgent meeting of the PTI founder with his family, party leaders, and attorneys, as well as the provision of clear and comprehensive information on his health.
