ISLAMABAD (Speaks) : PTI leaders complained about the legal and political difficulties the party has been encountering to Chief Justice Yahya Afridi at a rare meeting with a team of five opposition members.

According to sources, the one-hour meeting was held at the chief justice’s home. The party leaders’ cases were among the complaints that the PTI leaders expressed.

At a later news conference, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar stated that they had warned the chief justice about the government’s disregard for court rulings and the limitations placed on the PTI founder’s ability to meet with his wife.

Additionally, the CJP presented a 10-point plan for judicial reform.

According to opposition leader Omar Ayub, their team comprised leading attorneys who spoke on topics such alleged governmental repression and FIRs against PTI employees.

PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja emphasized abuses of the legal system and human rights abuses.
He cautioned that there would inevitably be widespread unrest if these issues were not resolved.
